ABOUT US

Following Canada's Centennial Celebrations of 1967, a small group of optimistic citizens decided to pursue the idea of creating a space to reflect how things had changed over the past 100 years.  Established in 1971 we have been hosting visitors for almost 50 years.

The site consists of a series of six buildings, three from the turn of the century and three that were built to ensure safe storage and display of the thousands of artifacts that call the Museum home. Parking and portable washroom facilities on site as well.

We welcome all ages to tour the Museum during our seasonal hours or at request if outside of those. We also work hard to offer unique programs and events throughout the year to promote the Museum and build community throughout the rest of the year.
